Launch the InDesign program. Click “File” and “Open” to open the file you want to add the hyperlink to. Select the text you want to create a hyperlink from by holding down the left mouse button. Type in the address for the hyperlink in the “URL” box within the “Hyperlink” toolbar on the left side of the screen. Click the drop-down box next to “Opens in” and select “New Window.” Click “File” and “Save” to complete the process. Repeat as necessary to add additional hyperlinks.
