Preparing the Screen

To capture the best possible view of a Tweet, isolate it on your screen. If you are viewing Twitter on a mobile device, tap the Tweet in your timeline; the app will display the Tweet on a new page, along with any comments it has received. On a computer, click on the Tweet to expand the comments.

Creating a Mobile Screenshot

The screenshot process for mobile phones depends on the brand. On an iPhone, bring up the Tweet, push the home and power buttons simultaneously, and then release them. The screen will flash white, and the screenshot will be stored in your camera album. The same process applies to the HTC One.

Capturing a Computer Screenshot

If you are using Twitter on a Mac computer, hold down “Cmd-Shift-3.” The screenshot is automatically saved onto the desktop. On a PC, press the “PrtScn” key. The image will be stored to the clipboard, and you can paste it into an image editing program to save it. Writer Bio
