By default, Yahoo Messenger archives a history of all of your outgoing and incoming chat messages in a “Conversations” folder on your computer as well as in your Messenger account. Because you can also send SMS messages to cell phone numbers using Yahoo Messenger, the system also saves a history of your SMS chats with your contacts.
