When you install Google Chrome, an program folder is created in you C drive’s “Program Files” directory. If you wish to remove Google Chrome from this folder, it is inadvisable to merely delete the folder, because registry entries and shortcuts will still exist that could cause annoying errors. Instead, you should use Google Chrome’s uninstall feature, located in its Start menu folder. If you have difficulties with this method, you can also use Windows 7’s Add or Remove Programs function.
