Create Address Book Entry
Log on to your Windows Live Mail account. Select “Tools” and then “Windows Contacts” from the menu. Select “New Contact.” Type “Undisclosed” in the “First” field and “Recipients” in the “Last” field. You can also enter something that will be more familiar to recipients so they don’t think your email is spam. A possible option includes your own first and last name. This is the name recipients will see. Enter your email address in the “E-mail” field and click “OK.”
Hide Recipients
Sign in to your Windows Live account and start a new message. Click on “To:” and select the “Undisclosed Recipients” entry you created in Section 1. Click “To” again. Click “Bcc:,” which stands for “Blind Carbon Copy.” Select “View” and then “All Headers” from the menu if you do not see the “Bcc:” option. Click “OK” and select any recipients you want to receive the email. If you are entering each email address manually, separate each recipient’s address with a semicolon. Compose and send your message. Any addresses under the “Bcc:” field will be hidden from other recipients. Writer Bio
